Marjorie Noleen

Experience

Marjorie has practiced marketing, business development/sales, communications and public relations since 2001, providing marketing solutions for small to medium privately-held businesses, large nonprofits and publicly traded companies. Marjorie has specialized in public accounting marketing since January 2017, when she joined SKR+CO as marketing director.

In her current role as marketing + growth director, Marjorie provides leadership for the long-term community engagement vision for the Firm and oversees marketing, community and client relations, creative design, advertising, internal communication and business development initiatives. Her specialties include integrated marketing communication, strategic and operations planning, emergency/crisis communication.

Professional + Community Involvement

Marjorie currently serves on the Association of Accounting Marketer’s Virtual Education Committee, UCCS College of Business Marketing Advisory Board, CSBJ’s Rising Stars event committee, CSBJ’s Women of Influence event committee and PPUW’s Quality of Life Community Engagement committee; previously served the Mayor’s Sesquicentennial BBB Festival planning committee and The First Tee of Pikes Peak’s annual fundraising committee.

Marjorie volunteers with the southern Colorado chapter of FORCE, a national nonprofit dedicated to hereditary breast and ovarian cancer awareness and education, Sue’s Gift Gynecological Cancer Support and Care and Share Foodbank. Previously volunteered at the Springs Rescue Mission.

Marjorie is a member of the Association of Accounting Marketers (AAM), Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the J.G. Murray Foundation.

The Colorado Springs Business Journal recognized Marjorie with a Rising Star award in 2017 and as a Woman of Influence in 2021. Marjorie was a  fellow of the Geiger Gibson Capstone Program in Health Policy for Health Center Leaders and a graduate of the National Association of Community Health Centers Grassroots Advocacy Leadership Program.

Hobbies + Interests

A Colorado Springs native and life-long learner, Marjorie enjoys staying active with friends and family, playing volleyball, yoga, paddle boarding,  snowboarding, mountain biking, trail running, community engagement, volunteering, reading, writing and more.
